Red

Susie

I would love to work with you creating a custom, one-of-a-kind portrait of your pet.  Whether they have four legs, scales or wings I can capture your friend's unique personality in a totally original work of art!

My portraits are perfect gifts and a wonderful way to memorialize a pet that left it's permanent mark on your heart.

The order process is detailed below, feel free to contact me for additional information or to get your portrait started.

PHOTOS: First, send me a photo.
I work entirely from photos, so first I will need your favorite picture that you’d like turned into a portrait. High resolution photos with natural lighting work best. (You must either own the rights to your photo or have written permission from the photographer). While I can work from a low-resolution photo please remember that the better your photo, the better your artwork. The more detail I am able to see in the photo the more detailed your portrait will be.  Unlike a lot of digital pet portrait packages I do not use Photoshop to alter your picture, I create an all original artwork using a digital art program.

SIZE: My default size for Commission packages is 8”x10”, but I can accommodate any other size you might want.  Prints look great in larger dimensions or canvas wrapped.

BACKGROUND: Choose a background color or style.
Some people love the modern look of a patterned background, others are drawn to something a little more simple. Let me know which style you prefer. If you have a specific color pattern in mind, or know the color scheme of the room you plan to hang your art, let me know that, too.

PRICING
Commission packages include 1 – 8”x10” on photo quality paper with a matte finish.  I sign and date the print and send it to you ready for framing.  I will not sell prints of your Commission to anyone but you and you can order additional prints at any time.

Commission packages start at $125.

FINAL STEPS
Once we’ve determined size and the photo I’ll be using, I will send you a contract and require a 50% deposit to secure your spot on my list. Once I finish your portrait, you will receive a low-resolution digital proof to approve. Do not be afraid to ask for changes, in both the background design and the actual portrait of your pet. Your input is welcome and expected. I rely on the photos as well as your comments to get your pet right.

PLEASE NOTE: As not all computer monitors are the same, colors or contrast might vary slightly from actual artwork.

After any revisions, I will send you another proof to get your final approval. Up to 3 rounds of revisions are included in your price. Addition revisions require an additional fee. Once the portrait is approved, I will proceed with finalizing and the remaining balance is due prior to shipment.

Toby

Toby is youngest member of our pack.  He's about 9 months old and is a chihuahua dachshund mix that is always underfoot.  Good thing he's as cute as he is!

Skeeter Bess lives in Chicago, IL and enjoys being wherever her moms are...even if that's somewhere she isn't supposed to be.
